Study On Optimization Of Organization Structure Of Z Road&Bridge Construction Company

This thesis chooses Z road&bridge construction company as a case to discuss the optimization of its organization structure based on the academic theories and the practical situation of the company. With the method of interviews, material study and observation, it can be found that the existed organization structure of the company is not able to adapt to the development of the company. So in this thesis a new optimization proposal is given.In the first part of the thesis, the research background, purpose, and the research method are introduced; the second part reviews the development of organization structure theories and models; the next part gives a brief introduction to the company background and the existed organization structure, and discusses the problems of it (eg. Department function absence, and unreasonable personnel structure). In the fourth chapter, a new optimization proposal is given based on the optimization principles and the characteristic of the company’s development, in which some critical functions are added, the job responsibilities are clearly defined according to the job position; and the project department is divided into two directions to prepare for the future development of the company. At the end of the thesis, several safeguards are discussed to deal with the obstacles may occur during the implementing of the new organization structure.
