Now, with the rapid development of private enterprises in China, the environment faced by enterprises is also undergoing profound changes. If enterprises want to grasp the opportunity in the fierce market competition to develop, they must take their advantage of talents, which enables enterprises to face the unprecedented challenge in the establishment and administration of their salary systems. Enterprises need to improve from their own stage of development, insist on the principle of internal equity, external equity and personal equity, and tailor more detailed salary management system accustomed to environment changes.First of all, the article introduces the background and significance of the topic, research approaches and methods. The body part introduces concept, composition and type of salary, and elaborates the design principles and influential factors of salary system. On the basis, the essay finds the problems existing in the current salary system of D company according to the analysis and research, in combination with internal salary survey, calculation of Gini coefficient and survey results of external compensation of the same industry. The essay analyzes the problems existing in the diagnosis, optimizes and designs the salary system according to the strategic orientation of the company, systematically elaborates the content of optimized salary system and finally comes up with safeguards to implement the optimized plan.This paper introduces broadband compensation theory and a self-service welfare philosophy in optimization design of salary system, changes the traditional and fixed compensation structure, and significantly enhances incentive role of salary. It provides guidance and reference to D company to further deepen the reform of salary system.
