Sichuan Tourism Economic Performance Evaluation

The tourism industry relates to the social, economy, culture and other aspects, has a huge role in boosting the region’s economic development. However, at the same time, China’s tourism industry has a lot of shortcomings:the low level of industrial structure, industry benefit is not ideal, industry rules and regulations are not sound and other issues, the domestic study on this field of economic performance of the tourism industry is still not mature enough at present, the research about regional tourism industry development present situation, the regional tourism cooperation and strengthening the construction of the tourism market are not deep. Based on the above problems, this paper constructed the economic performance of the tourism industry evaluation system, evaluated the economic performance of regional tourism industry and put forward the countermeasures and suggestions.First of all, it introduced the background and significance of this research and described and reviewed the research status and results at home and abroad briefly. Then, the article pointed out the main research contents, methods, technical route.Secondly, in the Chapter II it explained the definition of economic performance of regional tourism industry, briefly described the tourism multiplier theory, location theory and non-equilibrium theory, and constructed the evaluation index system of economic performance in tourism industry. In the Chapter three, it pointed tourist destination as the research object and selected effect of tourism economy, tourism management, basic power to construct the economic performance evaluation system of tourism industry. And system selected14city states preparing for the empirical analysis.The empirical aspects, based on the analysis of the current situation of the development of tourism industry in Sichuan province, system selected of14cities in Sichuan province as the object of empirical study and applying EXCEL、SPSS17.0software analyzes factors in selected areas of the tourism industry and draw conclusions as follows:The economic performance level of Sichuan Province14city tourism industry economic performance has the large differences in development between the regions and the polarization is serious; Tourism industry economic development level and various cities municipalities states coincided basically with the level of economic performance and is due to the economic development of the huge differences between each region around the main reason for the large difference of the tourism industry; Most travel performance comprehensive score difference is large, one of the biggest influence factor is the scale factor and management factor effect. Finally, according to the empirical results the author put forward countermeasures to improve the economic performance of the tourism industry in Sichuan.
