Research On The Economic Effects Of Tourism Industry In Sichuan Province

In recent years,the tourism industry in Sichuan Province has had a positive impact on stimulating regional economic growth,solving social employment problems,and driving the development of related industries.The development of the industry has brought huge economic effects to Sichuan Province and its contribution to the social economy has been increasing.As a major tourism resource province,there is still a big gap between it and the domestic tourism economy.How to comprehensively understand the current development of the industry and objectively evaluate the industrial economic effect is one of the directions that deserve attention.Based on the actual development situation,this paper will become the realistic background of the pillar industry in the province.Based on the theory of industrial linkage,comparative advantage theory and sustainable development theory,considering the characteristics of tourism industry,from income,employment and association This paper evaluates the economic effects of tourism industry in Sichuan Province and compares it with the national administrative regions to understand the current economic effects of tourism industry in Sichuan Province and provide countermeasures for further improving the industrial economic effects.Through the empirical research on the economic effects of tourism industry in Sichuan Province,three main conclusions are drawn:(1)From the perspective of income effect,every 1%change in total tourism revenue in Sichuan will drive the regional economic situation to change by 2.37%;Sichuan The development of the province's tourism industry can promote regional economic development;in the short-term,when the total tourism revenue and the number of tourism employees in Sichuan are deviated from the long-term equilibrium,the system will adjust the non-equilibrium state back to equilibrium;The coefficient value is higher than that of Yunnan Province and lower than Guangdong Province.(2)From the perspective of employment effect,every 1%change in total tourism revenue in Sichuan Province will drive the same proportion of tourism employment in the region by 0.69%.The development of tourism industry can drive the increase in the number of tourism practitioners;in the short term,when Sichuan Tourism When the income and tourism industry volatility deviate from the long-term equilibrium state,the system will adjust the non-equilibrium state to the equilibrium state with the adjustment intensity;the coefficient value of the employment effect is not much different from the two provinces of Guangdong and Yunnan.(3)From the perspective of correlation effect,the correlation coefficient between Sichuan tourism industry and other related industries is between 0.7-1,and the smallest is wholesale and retail industry,only 0.711,which has a certain gap with Guangdong Province and Yunnan Province.The highest correlation with Sichuan Province is agriculture,forestry,animal husbandry and fishery,with a correlation coefficient of 0.943,which is consistent with the reality,but lower than that of Guangdong and other regions,indicating that there is still much room for development in industrial integration.Finally,based on the above empirical results,this paper analyzes the reasons that affect the economic effects of tourism industry in Sichuan Province,and proposes four countermeasures:providing a stable employment environment,improving the skills of employees;optimizing tourism products and services,stimulating secondary consumption of tourists;promoting industry Integrate development,realize the application of "Tourism+"strategy;adhere to regional tourism cooperation,and introduce policies to provide guarantee for industrial development.I hope to provide a reference for the development of tourism industry in Sichuan Province.
