As the third tier of commercial banks, city commercial banks are the new force and actively carry out investment banking business.As one of the largest city commercial banks, ABC Bank has made rapid development in the investment banking field through continuing hard work. But at this stage, China’s commercial banks faces many complex situations, including:rapidly changing market environment, the phenomenon of financial disintermediation, increasing customer demand for diversified investment and financing, intensified competition commercial banks between commercial banks...... Under this situation, how to build core competitiveness and occupy a favorable position in the market is an important issue facing ABC Bank. Therefore, this paper will focus on the analysis of the status and further development strategy of ABC Bank’s investment banking business.This paper mainly explores the development strategy of ABC Bank’s investment banking business, with a focus on the analysis of the status of ABC Bank’s investment banking business, and discusses the strategy that is fit for ABC Bank’s actual situation.
