Research On Structure Characteristics And Influencing Factors Of Incubation Network

The incubator is deemed to nurture start-ups "cradle", which provides a variety of infrastructure and other professional services for enterprises to create a well growing environment. Thus, more and more start-ups join the incubator to solve the problem of lacking of resources and capacity. With the growth of enterprises, incubators can not meet the diverse needs, and then the Incubation Network was born. The Incubation Network, which is based on incubator, effectively connects the incubator enterprises and external organizations together, such as University and Research institutions、Financial institutions、Government、Intermediaries, and the core of Incubation Network is Incubator. Through Incubation Network, enterprises not only make up for the resources limitation, but also enhance their ability to resist risk and entrepreneurial performance. In practice, the influence of the Incubation Network on the enterprises is increasing. However, many enterprises are less aware of the morphology and effect of the Incubation Network, and thus ignore the role of it in incubation. In order to make well use of the Incubator Network, promote the growth of enterprises and improve hatchability, the article attempts to research on structure and influencing factors of Incubation Network, and suggests relevant recommendations for the mechanism construction of incubators.On the basis of reviewing the theory of Social Networks and Incubator Network, the article makes an empirical research on all enterprises of TianJin Entrepreneurship Center and uses the Social Network Analysis Software-UCINET6.0to analysis the internal Incubation Network and the whole Incubation Network. Through analyzing the indices of density、average path、centrality、core-periphery structure and cohesion, the article finds that the internal Incubation Network structure is fragile and apparent stratification, the connections of incubated enterprises is loose, the resource of the internal Incubation Network is idle and so on. For solving the issues of the internal Incubation Network, the article uses factor analysis to research the influencing factors of Incubation Network from the perspectives of motivation and obstacle.The results of factor analysis indicate that motivation factors, affecting enterprises on joining the internal Incubation Network, are divided into five categories:risk and market motivation, technology motivation, resources motivation, cost motivation, emotional motivation. Meanwhile the obstacle factors are divided into three categories:trust obstacle, information obstacle, ideas obstacle. The findings of the empirical research provide empirical and suggestions for incubators to guide incubated enterprises effective join Incubator Network and for improving the mechanism of the Incubation Network. Finally, the article points out the limitations of the study and the future research directions.
