In the era of knowledge economy, the only real resource that all organizations have is people. The development of an enterprise is no longer just relying on the accumulation of capital, the market accumulation, the accumulation of technology, etc. The high degree of commitment of employees now has a pivotal position.However, in the days that the group of "Y-generation" employees has become a major force in the development of enterprises, many organizations now face a situation that employees turnover frequently, poor sense of responsibility and impulsive. All these problems badly affect the organization’s stability and long term development.The traditional idea to enhance employee’s loyalty to the enterprise is by improving salary and increasing promotion opportunities. However, this method appears to be inadequate for the present. The staff now pays more attention to the psychological level and the degree of fit with the enterprise than high economic returns.Proactive personality is a personal characteristic, more and more researches now focus on the individual difference in the organization. While, from an organizational point of view, aggressive personality has a positive correlation with job performance (Cram,1995). it will greatly promote teamwork performance(Kirkman&rosen,1999) In this study, the research subject is the "Y-generation", selected employees from Taiwan and Shenyang these two areas as the sample, use employees Subjective Well-being as mediating variables, to research Proactive Personality on Organizational Commitment.This paper reviews the relevant literature of Proactive Personality, Subjective Well-being, and Organizational Commitment. After that, this paper established a theoretical model about Proactive Personality, Subjective Well-being, and Organizational Commitment based on similar objectives influence theory (Ajzen,1977). Then, questionnaire was used to collect data; SPSS and structural equation model were used to analysis data.The results are as follows:(1) The level of Proactive Personality has a significant differences between gender from both area. And happiness in work has a significant difference over gender and area.(2) The best model explants the relationship among Proactive Personality, Subjective Well-being and Organizational Commitment is: Proactive Personality has a direct positive effect on Organizational Commitment; Subjective Well-being has a partial mediating effect on Proactive Personality’s direct positive effect on Organizational Commitment.(3) The regional differences are not significant between Taiwan and Shenyang.Finally, the paper discusses the findings. Based on the result above, this paper proposed inspiration and advice for management to enhance employee SWB form employee, leaders and organizational atmosphere three aspect. Meanwhile this paper also pointed out the limitations of this article and the future research directions.
