Since the reform and opening up, the construction industry has been the pillarindustry of the national economy, and its development not only increase the nationalincome, also led to the development of building materials, ceramics, logistics,electronics, machinery and other industries. The stable development of buildingenterprises directly related to the social stability and the improvement of livingstandards of the people. With the development of market economy, the realization ofeconomic integration, the construction enterprises are facing unprecedentedopportunities and challenges. How to survive in a tough environment at home andabroad, become the focus of many researchers and industrialists concerned withresearch and development.At the age of knowledge economy, intellectual capital has gradually replaced thetraditional factors of production, and become the power source of the corecompetence of enterprises, which makes construction enterprises are facing more andmore complex market environment, Intellectual capital is becoming the focus ofresearch.This paper systematically analyzes the intellectual capital and core competencetheory, and the inherent relationship between them. Then this paper analysis the formof the intellectual capital and the role in the construction enterprises. On this basis,establish the core competitiveness evaluation index system, of constructionenterprises. In this paper core competitiveness of enterprises will be the indicator,human capital, technology, capital, organizational capital, market capital and thesocial capital will be the second indicators,then12three indicators, and32fourindicators. Then use SEM to analysis the Correlation between factors of corecompetitiveness, reduce the index system, extract the key indicators of constructionenterprise’s core competence. Then select25construction enterprises as the samplesfor SVM training and testing of the model, to obtain the optimal classification model,of which20training samples, five testing samples. Then, use the support vectormachine classification model to create the construction enterprises in Heber Provincefor analysis, and give suggestions to enhance the core competitiveness of enterprises.
