Study On Evaluation Of County Economic Competitive Power In Hebei Province

County economy is the basic unit of the balance between urban and rural economicand social development, is an important economic foundation of the whole nationaleconomy, and also constitutes an important part of national and provincial economy. It isthe integration of urban economy and rural economy, and intersection of the industrialeconomy and agricultural economy. Also it is a cohesion which links macro economy andmicro economy, is an important platform of urban and rural development as a whole. Thecounty economy plays an irreplaceable role in the process of our country’s economicdevelopment. In recent years, the study of county economy increased, but the study aboutevaluation index system of county economic competitive power is relatively less.Compared with the country, the overall strength of county economy in Hebei province isnot strong. There are a lot of differences in regional development. The county economicdevelopment become the key actor to promote the balance of urban and rural development,solve the problem among agriculture, rural areas and farmers, and promote people’s livingstandards. The article adopts the means of the combination of theory and practice. Itdepicts the connotation and direction of the county economy in a systematic way, on thebasis of studies of county economy home and outside, the characteristic of countyeconomy and industry. The article build a set of scientific and effective evaluation indexsystem of county economy to measure the county economic competitive power in Hebeiprovince, and using the comprehensive index method to calculate the county economiccompetition power score in Hebei province. And then it analyzes the score. For thein-depth analysis about the different change in county economic competitiveness ofdifferent years, this paper respectively calculated the economic data of2009and2010, andthen analyzes the change of the county competitive power in three years. To highlight thevarious level of the county (city) economic competitive power of the different district, indevelopment vigor, development potential and different competitive level, this articleselected part of the indexes which can reflect county development vigor and developmentpotential level. And then it uses SPSS software to carries on the cluster analysis, andreviews the result. By the end of the article, it concludes the development characteristics ofcounty in Hebei province, and puts forward a series of countermeasures and suggestionsbased on the evaluation results.
