The Study On The Restraining Factors And The Realizing Ways Of Migrant Workers’ Urbanization

Urbanization is the inevitable law of social development. In recent years, China’s urbanization process has made some progress. Migrant workers are a special group that appears in this process. They came to the city from the countryside to help our city construction, but they didn’t get the same treatment as urban people. In the cities, migrant workers engaged in machinery and dirty work, but their rights and interests were not guaranteed. And produce a variety of social issues, such as employment issues, housing issues, insurance issues and even crime, etc. eliciting people’s anxiety. To stabilize society, we must solve the problems of rural migrant workers. In the final analysis, the reason of the problems of rural migrant workers is their special status. They are neither the farmer in the traditional sense, nor the citizen. So they face many difficulties in the life of the city, can not really integrate into city life. Accordingly, the central government and academic circles put forward the concept of "migrant workers’ urbanization". Migrant workers’ urbanization is to make the migrant workers first gradually achieve urbanization in the life style and idea, and then to let migrant workers enjoy their rights and interests and guarantee that the citizens should enjoy. Migrant workers realize urbanization to obtain the rights of all aspects has positive significance for the migrant workers themselves and the whole society.In this paper, the concepts related to the problem of migrant workers’ urbanization is defined, the related theories are reviewed. Using these as a case, the paper used questionnaire survey and case analysis method. Based on investigating the part of migrant workers in Jinan and using SWOT analysis to study the status of peasant workers urbanization of Jinan, it made analysis of various conditions and factors affecting and restricting migrant workers urbanization of Jinan. And through the successful case study of Suzhou City, we obtain some enlightenment, and finally put forward the realization path. Specifically, this paper mainly includes.Firstly, the concepts related to the problem of migrant workers’ urbanization is defined and the related theories are reviewed. The related concepts of the urbanization of migrant workers were defined. The related theories as well as the application concepts and related theory are reviewed to definite the content related concepts and the application of related theory.Secondly, study the status of peasant workers urbanization of Jinan. Based on investigating the part of migrant workers in Jinan, Collecting relevant data and sort it to undertake a full analysis of the status of peasant workers urbanization in Jinan based on the SWOT analysis method.Thirdly, study the restrict factors of peasant workers urbanization of Jinan. By studying the front of the theories and practical situations, using the survey data, Jinan’s statistical data, national statistics data, the paper makes analysis of various conditions and factors affecting and restricting migrant workers urbanization of Jinan.Finally, through finding the various conditions and factors affecting and restricting migrant workers urbanization of Jinan, the paper put forward the path to realize urbanization in the end. Specific include: the formulation of different modes, implementing system innovation, improve the overall quality of migrant workers, raise funds etc.
