Staff’s Job Involvement Research Under Different Types Of Leadership Styles

In the early1990s, scholars both at home and abroad as well as the world’s famous consulting company began to research into the content of the positive psychology. Respectively to work into the definition, structure and measurement method is put forward different point of view, though, after decades of research they have yet to work into the concept and structure of a unified understanding, but believe that job involvement has a significant influence to enterprise’s overall performance, not only in improving employee productivity, loyalty, and retention rate also has a huge contribution.Job involvement as the rise of positive psychology and form a new research field, but the study of it has not all been plain sailing.In foreign countries, research on job involvement remains controversy, mainly displays in the work put into the definition, measurement and generation mechanism. Stay at home, most of the researchers on job involvement theory introduction stage, or according to the research on China’s national conditions into the antecedent or the dependent variable, after but not aiming at the effects of job involvement mechanism for specialized research. This study through the analysis on different types of leadership style under the condition of the employee’s job engagement, proposed staff job involvement mechanism, the influence of China’s special national conditions for further study under the condition of job involvement lay a certain foundation.This study used literature method, survey method and statistical analysis. First of all, this study use the method of literature research, through to the domestic and foreign relevant leadership style, self-efficacy and job involvement of journals, books and papers were studied, establishing the basic research framework of this study, and puts forward the basic hypothesis of this article; then with study design leadership style, self-efficacy and job involvement of the questionnaire, the main way of distributing the questionnaire through the network; By using the software of SPSS statistical analysis, for organizing recycling questionnaire, and demographic analysis, correlation analysis and regression analysis, in order to study the effect of leadership style on job involvement mechanism.This thesis is divided into five parts. The first part introduces the purpose and significance of this thesis research, hope this thesis can find different types of leadership style on the employee’s job involvement has a significant impact? If there is impact, it is the impact of job involvement in what way?The second part is literature review, first of all, respectively introduces the leadership style, self-efficacy and job involvement at home and abroad research status, secondly introduces the leadership style, self-efficacy, and the research status of the relationship among job involvement;The third part introduces the research design of this paper, first of all, according to the second part of literature review, combined with organizational behavior and psychology related theory, put forward four major assumption of this paper, and then according to the hypothesis proposed in this paper, the theory model, and determine the research method of this thesis will use, again according to previous scholars study this paper USES questionnaire, and build demographic questionnaire item and options;Fourth part is the research and results of the questionnaire analysis, as the core content of this paper, First of all, this paper USES the questionnaire reliability and validity analysis, the results show that the reliability and validity are significant, this questionnaire can be used, the second to descriptive statistics of the three sections of the questionnaire, including three parts of the item number, maximum, minimum, mean and standard deviation, And then analyzes the demographic characteristics of the questionnaire on each variable variance analysis, including:gender, marital status, age, educational background, work directly under the enterprise nature, position level, with the current time, communication with the immediate supervisor weekly times on each variable variance analysis, Results show that there is no a demographic characteristics in the transformational, transactional, self-efficacy, energy, dedication and focus on six dimensions have significant differences, this questionnaire after the three variables involved a total of six dimensions related analysis, concluded that transformational leadership and transactional leadership style on self-efficacy and job involvement of three dimensions:energy, dedication and focus are significant positively related; Self-efficacy to work into three dimensions:energy, dedication and focus the correlation coefficient, by further regression, building regression equation, and validate assumptions, finally carries on the leadership style, self-efficacy and job involvement of regression analysis, analysis the influence mechanism between and among, and builds the regression equation, and validation of the proposed hypothesis;Fifth part for this article last part, first of all, this paper summarizes achievements of research to identify and the hypothesis of this article, then Suggestions are put forward according to the management practice. Insufficient study of this paper puts forward the future direction of the research:(1) the sample is more comprehensive, research more scientific (2) leadership style is more concrete, more detailed other intermediate variables (3) research on the influence of leadership style and job involvement mechanism, and comparing with the self-efficacy.Leadership style in the very great degree can affect the enterprise staffs job involvement. In the past the study of leadership theory, only attach importance to different types of managers’ leadership styles influence on job involvement, and neglected the management style to influence mechanism of job involvement. In an organization, part of the staff because of its superior leadership styles are unhappy or does not adapt to, and affect their self-efficacy, but this phenomenon is of theoretical and practical circles have not paid enough attention. So immediate superior, and probes into the staff put into the relationship between the leadership style is the micro management level should give importance to a practical problem. Therefore, this research will be on the basis of literature research, through the empirical study to explore the relationship between these variables, in order to enrich relevant leadership theory, and provide important management for enterprise human resources management advice.
