With the development of economy, the innovation of science and technology andthe competition of global market, the operation of the companies are faced withsevere challenges, and the cost pressure is increasing, especially for today’smanufacturing industry. While promoting the productivity, the companies are alsocontrolling the cost and exploiting the potentialities in each link of other operationmanagement. Currently it is generally recognized throughout the world that thecompetition among companies is the one among supply chains; therefore, each“appreciation link” in supply chain becomes the key for companies to control the cost.As an important link of supply chain, purchasing, as a matter of course, becomes amajor aspect in controlling the operation management of companies and thepurchasing management becomes the object of optimization and integration.Potentiality will provide the companies with new power resources.Under this background, the research of purchasing management under the model ofsupply-chain management is becoming more significant. With the current situation ofpurchasing management of F Company and the developmental features of thecompany, this paper introduces supply-chain pattern pointedly. To integrate purchsingmanagement into supply-chain pattern, and make the upstream-downstream linksunder control,. Meanwhile, during management together with JIT and ERPpurchasing methods, and brings a series of innovation of purchasing management:The purchasing management is more scientific by restructuring the purchasingframework, setting new supplier management and examiners, improving power of supplier management of purchasing department, innovating the management systemof purchasing to improve the efficiency of purchasing management.Meanwhile, based on ABC classifying management, F Company carries out sortmanagement according to different characteristics and influence of the productivematerials and carries out major management and control following20/80principle. Interms of the innovation of logistics and stocks, the company manages and controls thelogistics and material stock in a comprehensive and concentrated way by introducingthe pattern of concentrated contributing and management pattern of economicalstocks to make the purchasing management more scientific.The management of the suppliers and evaluation system are the major factors ofpurchasing management and the fair, objective and scientific evaluation andmanagement are important factors of the introduction of supply-chain pattern. Thepaper introduces the examination and evaluation system of F Company undersupply-chain pattern, classifying the suppliers into ABCD grades by the evaluationresults of products, processes and systems. In this way, F Company establishes thestrategic cooperation with significant suppliers, both parties can realize the win-winaim, the dominant price cost can be controlled, and the recessive quality and stockcost can be the new growth point of companies’ profits.For the integrating purchasing management into the supply-chain pattern andensure the implement of new pattern, F company should restructure the orgnization ofpurchasing Dept. and amend the principle of management, the promote theconstruction of information.By introducing the purchasing management under thesupply-chain pattern, F Company has made big achievements in controlling costs ineach link of purchasing management and provided great supports for the developmentof F Company.
