Good operation ofmine companies also has ecological significance and social significance. Iron ore industry as akind of resources industry, shoulders the heavy responsibility for the iron and steel industry’s rawmaterial supply. Because of the worse domestic mining management, the low ore grade and thelow mineral reserves, the relevant enterprises are in urgent need of strategic transformation,changing the passive situation at present. Based on the above reasons, it’s imperative todetermine development strategy of mining enterprises of the overall.This thesis embarks from the theory stratification plane. Firstly, it reviews the developmentprocess of strategy management, and related to the domestic current research in resource industry.It is the overall analysis of the foundation structure. Secondly, the thesis selected Meishan ironmine as an example of the correlation analysis and presents the general idea of the strategyrefinement. This thesis focuses on the content is to make analysis of the strategy for the WuhanIron and steel mining strategy. In the process of analysis, by means of PEST and five forcesmodel and other tools, industry overall environment was analyzed. Analysis results show thatmineral company face good external environment. By means of analysis tool value chaincombining internal information, the company’s internal condition was analyzed. The coreactivities are found. Based on the related aspects of analysis, SWOT analysis integrates thecompany’s opportunities and challenges, advantages and disadvantages. Through the integrationof research within companies, the company’s SWOT matrix is come out. Finally, combined withthe company’s strategic target, the thesis determines the company different strategy layer: acorporate strategy contains the diversification strategy and internationalization strategy; the lowcost leading strategy for business strategy; optimizing the human resources strategy, productionstrategy, financial strategy for the function layer strategy. |
