The Analysis Of The Level And Influencing Factors Of Modern Service Industrial Agglomeration In Anhui Province

Since the reform and opening up, with the rapid development of the national economy, the economic structure has undergone great changes and the role of the modern service industry in the national economy has been increasing. The development of the service industry has played a very important role in increasing employment opportunities, improving the industrial structure, improving the people’s living standards, promoting economic growth and maintaining social stability. At present, Anhui is on the way of building a well-off society and on the new stage of development of accelerating the socialist modernization so that the development of modern service industry becomes a more important and urgent task. Modern service industry has been separated from the traditional service industries and rapidly growing. It has been an important support of modern economic growth.Firstly, the paper introduces the connotation, the basic features and the industry definity of the modern service industry. Modern service industry is the information and knowledge-intensive service industry generated in a more developed stage of industrialization and mainly relying on the development of information technology and modern management concepts. Modern service industry has nine qualities including modernization, high correlation, high-tech, high value-added and agglomeration, employers’high-quality and so on. Down to the industry can be divided into:agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry, fishery services; construction and decoration industry; information transmission, computer services and software industry; the financial sector; real estate; renting and business services; scientific research, technical services and geological prospecting; education; health, social security and social welfare; culture, sports, and entertainment.And then the paper expounds the theory of modern service industrial agglomeration, including the distinction between industrial agglomeration and industrial clusters, the content, the nature and characteristics of modern service industries concentrated. The nature of industrial agglomeration and industrial clusters is the same. However, industrial agglomeration focus on a dynamic description while i industrial clusters focus on a static description. Modern service industrial agglomeration means that interrelated services companies and organizations gathered within a limited area and even the polymerization process. The essence of modern service industrial agglomeration can be summarized as follows:in a particular area, based on the fine division and specialization of industrial chain in a specific geographical agglomeration and the forming interactive relationship. The modern service industrial agglomeration has several characteristics including the gathering economic characteristics of the knowledge and technology-intensive service-oriented; flexible specialization; network based on division and specialization of cooperation and the sharing of resources and the rooting of common culture.The paper uses modern service industry evaluation index system and factor analysis model to evaluate the development of modern service industry in Anhui Province. From four areas including the developing level of modern service industry, modern service industry growth capacity, the basic conditions for the development of modern service industry and modern service industry development in public environment, the paper makes comprehensive evaluation on modern service industry development of16cities in Anhui Province. Three indexes about industrial agglomeration measure including location quotient H index and the spatial Gini coefficient index are calculated on the modern service industry in Anhui Province. From that, Anhui modern service industry concentration and trends can be seen. The paper uses factor analysis model and analysises the level of modern service industrial agglomeration influencing factor through nine indicators including the GDP per capita, per capita tertiary industry, tertiary industry growth rate and so on. Finally, the paper makes policy recommendations about the development of modern service industry in Anhui Province based on the above analysis.
