A Study On Improvement Of Kunming Cigarette Factory Performance Evaluation System

Performance appraisal is the key of the human resource management, it’s a method help manager ensure the work process and output in accordance with organizational objectives, through the performance evaluation, the employee and supervisor make joint efforts to achieve the objectives of the organization. Performance management has a great role to enhance the competitiveness of enterprises whatever the development stage, it is very necessary to carry on the performance management.Kunming cigarette factory develop four in one of the performance appraisal management system in2012, which include objective management, process management, problem management and project management, with the development and gradual perfection, it add knowledge management and the party work assessment in2013, at present gradual implementation is being explored. How to make the performance management effectively application, upgrade the overall level of factory team construction, has become an imminent task at the present stage of Kunming cigarette factory.This paper base on the application of theories and methods of performance appraisal, analyse the evaluation system of performance appraisal of Kunming cigarette factory from the four aspects of organization, assessment content, assessment methods and evaluation results of the application, analysis shows that the organization and assessment methods are reasonable, but there are problems on objective management and process management, such as the system is incomplete, weight of KPI is unreasonable, evaluation results of the discrimination is not high. Finally, aiming at the above problems, the paper puts forward improvement suggestions, with a hope to provide some reference value to improve the validity of the assessment work.
