Studies On The Development Of The Rural Tourism Of Dongping Based On SWOT

Rural tourism is a new kind of tourism activities that in rural areas, using the country’sunique natural environment, rural scenery, the production and business operation pattern,amorous feelings of people, farming culture, rural settlements to provide urban sightseeing,leisure, vacation, experience, fitness, entertainment and shopping. Rural tourism originated inEurope in the middle of the nineteenth century and the large-scale development in the1920sand1930s. Rural tourism in China started late which was created in the1980s and developedin1990s. As the most general and acceptable tourism products in the ecological tourism, ruraltourism is more and more welcomed by people which to the harmonious coexistence of manand nature. Rich in rural tourism resources and rural cultural heritage, DongPing has theabsolute advantage to develop rural tourism. In close connection with the development trendsof rural tourism and requirements, through analyzing the rural tourism development presentsituation in DongPing, this paper objectively and accurately found problems in rural tourismdevelopment, and presents the direction and policy measures through combing with a varietyof analysis methods and theory with practice.This paper has five parts.Part one introduction. This part introduces the background, research goal andsignificance of the study, as well as main content, technique and technical route. Lastly, thischapter brings forward the innovation and deficiency of this paper.Part two rural tourism development summarization. The second part summarizes thedomestic and foreign country’s emergence, present research situation and types of ruraltourism. At the same time, analyze the connotation and characteristics of rural tourism. Also itanalysis and forecasts the development prospects of rural tourism.Part three. This part analysis the Dongping rural tourism present situation. Throughconsulting relevant literature, collect relevant data and field investigation to understand ruraltourism development present situation and the impact on local economy, environment, societyand culture of DongPing. Study the development measures and the existing problems of ruraltourism.Part four. SWOT analysis on the rural tourism in Dongping. Based on literature review, expert interview and field investigation, using SWOT analysis method, this paper sums up theadvantages and disadvantages of DongPing rural tourism development, pointed out the ruraltourism’s development opportunities and the difficulties and threats.Part five Suggestion. According to the last chapter on the current situation and existingproblems of the related research, this part puts forward suggestion on rural tourismdevelopment.
