With the development of economic globalization and growth of global market, more and more multinational companies strategically focus on procuring low-cost resources worldwide. The2008financial crisis weakened the demand in Europe and other Western countries, which ultimately led to the significant decrease in the exports of the emerging countries like China. Meanwhile, in the low-cost sourcing countries, multinational firms faces various risks such as rise in the labor costs, dramatic fluctuation in the prices of raw materials and other comedies, increase in the exchange rate, and quality and transportation problems in the too-long supply chains, and needs to re-examine their procurement strategies that focus on emerging market. To achieve success in the new environment, the multinational firms have to transform from the traditional low-cost procurement model to a more comprehensive strategic approach. Traditional manufacturing industry therefore faced various challenges in the business model, ways of thinking as well as technological challenges. In the era that both the management tools and management modes change dramatically, as a multinational manufacturing company A has developed advanced models and procedures to improve their competitive advantage and competency, which is a critical issue to all other manufacturers.With the rapid development of the global economy, the automotive market has intensifying competition; China’s passenger car market is facing greater challenges. In the domestic passenger car market, whether high-end imported brands, joint venture brands or independent brands, sales model and channels are similar, the core content of almost all franchise business are’brand franchise’ model-4Sshop. The development and expansion of the automobile manufacturers, in fact relies heavily on the control of its nationwide dealer network. In a nutshell, it is to think of ways to the development of the comprehensive ability of quality dealers, while phasing out the poor who is crucial for the car manufactures. Dealer vehicle manufactures to achieve the sale of the fundamental, is to help manufacturers to obtain the driving force behind the development. Passenger car dealers’strategic performance evaluation has importance for vehicle manufacturers to increase or decrease the channel members, optimizing the channel structure, improves the overall sales. How to find strong development potential of the overall quality of the dealers of vehicle manufacturers, has become an important issue in front of each brand.Dealer performance evaluation system for passenger car manufacturers, is to establish a hierarchy of elements of the detailed analysis of the dealers ability, conversion and implementation process, and research the dealer performance evaluation and analysis the method which can analyze the dealers’ performance system and put forward relevant countermeasures, in order to achieve the whole car dealer system optimization, automobile manufacturers and dealers to achieve the virtuous circle of their comprehensive ability. Therefore, the entire car dealers in-depth study of the performance evaluation system has important theoretical significance and of great practical significance.Through using the relevant theory of performance evaluation and the analytic hierarchy process, qualitative and quantitative analysis, and the combination of theoretical and empirical research, the passenger car dealer performance evaluation system has been studied in-depth and construct the passenger car dealer performance evaluation system. Using the analytic hierarchy process to determine the index weight, and finally the establishment of the passenger car dealer performance evaluation index system to a joint venture on the domestic brand dealer performance evaluation confirmed the reasonableness of construction the performance evaluation system, and opened up an idea for an objective assessment of dealer performance.
