Research and Development employees’ motivation mechanism is well concerned and studied by companies and human resources departments. This case study will research on internal motivation mechanism of research and development employees. Based on the real case of S company’s internal motivation mechanism for research and development employees, using the case data to analyze, find out the points can be improved and try to design optimization solutions on current motivation mechanism.By studying on this case, using the knowledge and methodology of motivation mechanisms, trying to find out some efficient motivation methods applicable to company development and help the company to decrease research and development employees fluctuation rate, improve employees satisfaction rate and optimize current compensation and benefits to realize company talent development objectives.This essay is using the case study methodology to analysis the basic information, fluctuation rate and employee engagement survey data to understand the current situation and then try to design for optimization solutions.Through the analysis on fluctuation rate, employee satisfaction rate of S company’s research and development, based on the actual situation, suggest to optimize organizational resources, using management by objectives and result-orientated performance management, increase internal career development opportunities, strengthen current compensation&benefits policies, promote excellent communication culture.
