Recently, urban integration developed rapidly under the background of economic globalization and regional economic integration, a lot of regions in China has put forward the idea of urban integration and put it into practice, as the foundation and prerequisite for the implementation of urban integration strategy, transportation plays an irreplaceable role in promoting the development of social and economic in urban integration regions. Therefore, it is necessary to study the impact of transportation on regional economy and industrial structure in urban integration regions.This paper explores the mechanism of transportation impact on the regional economy from the macro-level, analyzes the causal feedback relationship between socio-economic, employment population, transportation, urban integration policy and other related elements, builds the system dynamics model, and makes full use of the system dynamics features as a policy simulation laboratory, this paper constructs two policy scenario. Based on the contrast analysis, this paper studies the development of regional economic output and industrial structure trend under the impact of urban integration transportation.In the example analysis, this paper calibrates the model equations and parameters based on X regional socio-economic and transportation systems status quo, the relevant planning and development strategy, verifies the validity of the system dynamics model. By constructing policy scenarios and adjusting model parameters, this paper simulates the basic scenarios and policy scenarios, comparatively analysis the impact of urban integration transportation on promoting economic development and optimizing the industrial structure in the coming years. At last, this paper proposes several policy recommendations on the implementation of urban integration transportation strategies.
