During the enterprises’operation process, opportunities and risks coexist. The enterprise legal risk is throughout the business management and the life cycle of the enterprise. With the arrival of the era of high risk and the increasing competition in the market, paying attention to and strengthening the enterprise legal risk management has become the basic work of enhancing market competition advantage of the enterprise. It has become the important way to enhance the enterprise’s survival and development ability, and become the important guarantee of promoting the development of the enterprises themselves. This dissertation including two parts consists of theoretical analysis and empirical research. The theoretical part (the first and second chapter) mainly analyzes the concept characteristics, types, management process and implement of the enterprise legal risk management. It has discussed the development and current situation of our enterprise legal risk management, focusing on the state-owned enterprise legal risk management, clarifying the importance and necessity of the state-owned enterprise legal risk management, and laying the theoretical foundation for the empirical research. The empirical study (from the third chapter to the fifth chapter) has made NETC (state-owned enterprise) for the research object. By the legal risk management theory as a tool, by means of questionnaire, case analysis methods, such as assessment framework and so on, to find out the problems and shortcoming existing in legal risk management. Analyzing the causes, putting forward countermeasures, and making improvement plan are in order to do some efforts on promoting and improving the ability of enterprise legal risk management.
