Northwest Minority Areas Industrial Layout Empirical Research

Northwest ethnic area which has long history, vast territory, diverse climate and variety numbers of nationalities is the key traffic artery in northwest of china. But it has been the underdevelopment of industrialization. The article analyses the industrial layout of northwest ethnic areas form three aspects:firstly, it uses of the datas of Qinghai, Ningxia and Xinjiang to calculate the industrial proportion quotient, static effect rate (SR), the dynamic effect rate (DR) and the comprehensive influence rate (CR). Secondly, based on the results from integrated quantitative analysis, it discusses the current problems which exists in the three provinces. At last, it trys to find out optimization countermeasures of the industrial layout and provide helpful suggestions in the future industrial economic development and planning of the northwest minority region, to make industrial layout become more scientific and reasonable, make the industrial competitiveness be more powerful, eventually, to accelerate the sustainable economic development of the northwest minority areas as a whole.This article is divided to five chapters, the first chapter introduces the research background, purposes and meaning, method and technical route the domestic and foreign theory and literature reviews of industry layout. The second chapter illustrates the present situation of industrial layout in the northwest minority areas, which includes industrial proportion and concentration analysis of Qinghai, Ningxia, and Xinjiang provinces. The third chapter calculates and analyzes the classification of industrial layout in Qinghai, Ningxia, Xinjiang by using the industrial layout classification index, then it gives out the relevant conclusions. The fourth chapter finds out the of industrial layout issues. Such as industrial agglomeration, industrial layout convergence, energy exploitation, industry concentration and relying on natural energy resources and so on. The last chapter poses the optimization countermeasures for the Northwest minority areas as a whole.
