With intense marketing compete today, performancemanagement is important to enterprises because that whether anenterprise can keep its employees lies on whether it has aneffective performance management mechanism. The performancemanagement mechanism of The Science and Technology ResearchInstitute Technological Department of Datong coal mine group(STRIDP) is not fit with the development strategy of LanzhouPetrochemical. So it is important to design a scientific performancemanagement system of STRIDP.The author concluded and summarized relative theory andmethod of performance management, analyzed the relationencourage theory with performance management and applicationcondition of performance manage theory be used in experience. Onthe base, the author analyzes existing performance managementmechanism of STRIDP, the results shows that there are a lot ofshortages in the mechanism, such as there is no criterion ofassessment, the contents of assessment is not comprehensive,there is no feed-back after assessment, there is no scientificperformance assessment system, etc.Based on the analysis, the author design a scientific performance management mechanism of STRIDP which includeperformance evaluating system, performance communicatingsystem, and performance inspiriting system. The performanceevaluating system consists of4superior indexes and15inferiorindexes; performance communicating system consists of3steps,and performance inspiriting system carry out all-around rewards.The author gives Implementing ideas of the performancemanagement system in the STRIDP. The implementation processincludes of four steps of preparing, checking, feedback andsummarizing. If it works, The existing questions of STRIDP areresolved effectively. And the performance management system canbe used for reference to analogical enterprises.
