Research On The Tourism Poverty Alleviation Of Yanling County

How to solve the problem of poverty has been the focus of national research. In recent years, many experts and scholars began to explore the role of tourism in poverty alleviation.The most typical case is PPT (pro-poor tourism) strategies that proposed by UK Department for International Development Bureau in1999.Since then, tourism is directly linked with poverty alleviation, and tourism has become a creative means of poverty alleviation.In order to achieve the situation of "Development of scenic spots,Economic prosperity,rich people".This new way of poverty alleviation promotes that the poor areas should tap the development potential of tourism on the basis of abundant tourism resources.Yanling has a long history and plenty of beantiful sceneries.However,the existing tourism projects did not alleviate poverty effectively. At the strategic backdrop of the anti-poverty activities of clustering contiguous poverty-stricken areas,this thesis mainly studies the pro-poor tourism development of Yanling County with the approaches of the literature review method, field survey, empirical research and quantitative methods.This paper aims to provide development ideas for the pro-poor tourism in Yanling Country,and offer useful experiences to other poor areas for reference.The main conclusions are as follows:1. From the space distribution and development mode of the important scenic spots to summarize the tourism resources in Yanling Country.through Analysis of a single tourist resource,we find the abundant tourism resources also have superior quality. This paper collects relevant data to states the overlap of the distribution of poverty population and the tourism resources.2.Firstly, it analyse the continued warming tourism economy of Yanling County in recent years,and discusses the role of tourism economic development for poverty alleviation.And then, by using the exponential smoothing method to predict its development. The predicted result shows the great development potential of the tourism industry in Yanling and the effectiveness of the pro-poor tourism.3.The article summarizes the serious poverty situation in Yanling,and analyzes the favorable conditions of its tourism development.The analysis demonstrates the feasibility of tourism poverty alleviation of Yanling Country.4.The paper puts forward a overall design idea and specific scheme of the Tourism Poverty Alleviation of Yanling County. In order to guide the residents to participate in the tourism industry to get direct benefit and get rid of poverty,community participation mode of tourism poverty alleviation becomes a suitable choice.5.In order to guarantee the poor can really benefit from the tourism economy,it use five systems including incentive, supervision, ruling, interest, participation to constitute the benefit mechanism of poverty population.And establishing security system from four aspects including the management, policy and law, finance,and talent apply to support poverty alleviation carried out smoothly.
