In recent years, with the acceleration of urban-rural integration process, the rapid development of the domestic economy, the labor shortage phenomenon began to appear. After the2013Spring Festival in Wuhan City, only11million people have employment gap. Labor shortage problem is not only to bring some negative impact on the normal production and operation of local businesses, and also to some extent on the process of China’s urban-rural integration has brought them back. Although the labor shortage problem only appeared in recent years, but ferocious, has now been extended to the country by the Pearl River Delta area, but the relevant theoretical research and practical work have not yet completed the formation of a unified system. Paper through empirical research on China’s enterprises labor shortage problem in-depth research and analysis, seeking to crack the problem of labor shortage ways and means to promote the rational allocation of labor in the hope that through a series of proposed measures for the healthy development of enterprises, the integration of urban and rural areas contribute to the transfer of rural surplus labor, increase farmers’ income, improve per capita income and promote the rapid development of the domestic economy to provide a reference value.Paper-based qualitative analysis to quantitative analysis, supplemented by analysis and questionnaire analysis using standardized method of combining, in the study also interspersed with data analysis, comprehensive variety of research methods, literature and so on. Make full use of the school library resources, remote network electronic library resources, domestic and foreign research journals, research papers, etc. to read, extract, summarized the research results at home and abroad to form a literature review; through the interview method for different enterprises in Wuhan employment shortage surveys conducted interviews, and internal staff employment and the labor market is not random interviews conducted surveys to understand the relevant issues and statistics; while corporate labor shortage issues related to policy issues and systems can only be conducted in a qualitative manner analysis; business and employment needs of personnel and other problems are mainly in the form of data comparison shows intuitive to use quantitative analysis.Paper introduces the contents and significance of the subject, the main research contents and methods of general introduction, the relevant research scholars summarized form a literature review; secondly the status of the labor shortage in Wuhan analyzed, introduced the basic situation of Wuhan, Wuhan elaborated labor shortage problem, and from the overall analysis of the problem of labor shortage in recent years, the age composition analysis, education supply and demand analysis, gender analysis, and lack of staff working in five areas of its type analysis carried out a detailed investigation; Wuhan, the cause of this labor shortage resulting in-depth research, this paper believes that the main cause of the labor shortage Wuhan reasons economic, institutional, corporate and demographic composition of the three aspects.
