Impact Of Agricultural Science And Technology Enterprise Managers’Social Networks On Technological Innovation

The Party Eighteenth Congress of CPC proposed that we should adhere to the road of industrialization, information technology, urbanization, agricultural modernization with Chinese characteristics to promote the four modernizations developing simultaneously. To realize the agricultural modernization and change the mode of production and the independent and decentralized forms of agricultural production and operation, as well as to realize the combination of agriculture and technology transformation and transformation of agricultural scientific and technological achievements, agricultural science and technology enterprises’technological innovation is the Basic. Recent years, as China’s attention on agricultural development and agricultural technology innovation system reform continued to deepen, China’s agricultural science and technology enterprises has been faster pace of development. However, subject to various factors, there are obvious deficiencies of agricultural science and technology enterprises in technological innovation. In view of this, this article will focus on technical innovation theory and social network theory as a guide, combined with agricultural science and technology enterprises own characteristics, to explore the impact mechanism of Agricultural science and technology enterprise managers’ social network on technology innovation. Getting and integrating internal and external resources through managers’ social networks to promote and enhance the technological innovation capability and competitiveness of agricultural science and technology enterprises.Since agriculture is highly dependent on natural science and technology enterprise environment and agricultural resources, knowledge and information resources, etc. So the resource acquisition plays a pivotal role in their process of technological innovation. Meanwhile, with the complexity of enterprise technology innovation and uncertainty increases, relying solely on their own limited resources cannot meet the needs of enterprise technology innovation, agricultural science and technology enterprise managers’ social network has a very important impact on resource acquisition and integration process. Therefore, the construction of high-quality managers’ social networks and the shortcuts to achieve resources and realizing technological innovation through resource integration has become essential. Currently, the role of the managers’social networks in the enterprise resource integration and technological innovation has become increasingly prominent. Enterprise managers can use their social networks to lower transaction costs for access to critical resources for enterprise development, and through the integration of resources, promote technological innovation processes of enterprises. Although many scholars present in our country have begun to focus on the role of entrepreneurs social networks in agricultural science and technology enterprises’technological innovation and integration of resources, but most studies only consider the relationship of two variables between technological innovation, resource integration and social networks among entrepreneurs, the study of the relationship between the three has not yet formed a complete framework. How did managers’social networks influence innovation behavior of enterprises, namely the mechanism that managers’social networks conduct technological innovation has not yet formed a unified opinion. In view of this, based on previous studies, taking agricultural science and technology enterprises as the study sample, through the introduction of the variable resources integration, this paper tends to divide the entrepreneurs social networks into five aspects:upper reach-ability, universality, heterogeneity, relationship strength and relationship quality, the paper will explore how agricultural science and technology enterprise managers’social networks affect resource acquisition and integration process thereby affecting the process of technological innovation. This paper will also discuss the intermediate effect of resource integration among managers’ social networks and technology innovation. The managers are assumed as the main learning agent to build a theoretical framework of "managers’ social network structure-organizational ambidexterity-resource integration-technology innovation". The research will closely follow the following four sub-questions:What is composed of managers’ social network structure; Whether do social networks for managers have an impact on technological innovation or not; Whether does resources integration have an impact on technological innovation; Does the organizational ambidexterity has any intermediate role? For the purpose of bring a complete solution to all above issues; this paper has put forward hypotheses and theoretical models of this article.From the perspective of agricultural science and technology managers’ social networks, this paper will take a research on enterprise managers’ social networks’ impact on technology innovation. This paper takes agricultural science and technology enterprise as the research object, distributing200questionnaires, of which153valid questionnaires. Using SPSS statistical software, we conducted reliability analysis, exploratory factor analysis, confirmatory factor analysis and other methods to process the data, and verify the assumptions and model. Finally, we also analyzed and discussed the test results and made recommendations and opinions for the development of such enterprises and also put forward relevant proposals that how the government plays well the role in the development process of these enterprises.
