Land is a natural-economic complex, Land use must be subject to the natural ecological laws and socio-economic laws’restricting. Therefore, regional differences in land use and regional breakdown can reveal the regional differentiation of Land, reflect the policy, direction, structure and layout characteristics of the regional land use forms, also can reveal and analyze problems in regional land use.For macroeconomic regulation and control of land use and lay the foundation for the development of land use planning and provide the scientific basis. By regional economic and social divisions make the best combination of ecological benefits, Play to regional advantages of land resources, Coordination of land conflicts between departments, achieve social and economic development, virtuous circle of ecological environment.In this paper, the research history of land use regionalization is explains. Principle agricultural land use and its problems has been made for Hebei kangbao through analysing the present situation of the agricultural land utilization. Select the natural ecological indicators and socio-economic indicators, Composition of the index system of agricultural land use zoning Kangbao County. Using the variation coefficient method determines the index weight, SPSS clustering division of technical means such as agricultural land use zoning. The work mainly include,1. Kangbao County agricultural land use survey and data acquisition: based on the field investigation research and visit related departments and famers, collect data material. Under the technical support of EXCEL、ARCGIS、SPSS data statistics are analyzed, then natural environment, economic conditions, agricultural land use and existing problems are analyzed.2. Build index system according the agricultural land use principles. The natural ecosystems includes: years of average precipitation and≥10℃accumulative temperature, soil organic matter. The socio-economic indications includes: proportion of arable land、proportion of woodland、proportion of grassland、grain yields.3. Use zoning based on the principles and methods of agricultural land Kangbao County; Kangbao county will be divided into three agricultural land use area: northern hilly region、gentle hilly area in eastern、undulating plain areas in southern.Subdivision two sub-regions, they are re-arid northeast asian region、arid western sub-egion、semi-arid southwest sub-region、northern semi-arid sub-regions、humid and semi-arid central and southern sub-region、northern semi-arid sub-regions、saline western sub-region、 southern semi-arid sub-regions.4. Proposed strategies for each area.(1) Agricultural land use should be based on both farming and livestock. For woodland, continue to strengthen the construction of farmland shelterbelts pasture, with narrow bushes and trees mixed forest dominated. For pasture, strengthen grassland constructed, improved grassland, development of artificial turf. Implementing fenced grazing, grazing, rotational grazing. Strengthen prevent and control of soil erosion.
