Technical And Economic Inner Mongolia Tuoketuo County SNG Project

In recent years, as China continued to implement energy-saving and emission-reduction policy, natural gas as a clean energy has been paid more and more attention.China’s natural gas consumption is growing rapidly, output growth is far from meetingthe demands of consumption growth, external dependence has reached as high as28.9%, and this value will continue to increase in the next few years. Coal gasificationtechnology can convert coal into natural gas, and the coal gasification factory can bebuilt near the coal mine. It’s a new way to produce clean energy.This thesis selects coal gasification project in Tuoketuo County of InnerMongolia as the research object. Through literature review, SWOT analysis, methodsof financial evaluation and uncertainty analysis method, it analyzed the technologicalschemes, domestic and foreign market analysis, project investment evaluation,environmental evaluation, risk analysis and so on. It summarized the project’sdevelopment prospects, investment earnings, and possible risk.This thesis proposes a combined coal gasification technology, which can makethe waste water containing phenol from BGL gasifier emissions recycled. So it canreduce waste emissions from the source.At the same time, through sensitivity analysis, this thesis concludes that theprice of natural gas is the main factor affecting coal gasification project. So theinvestors should actively strive for a favorable price of natural gas, in order to reducethe investment risk of the project.
