In recent years, with the continuous decline in international precious metals’ price, the gold and silver commemorative coins market turnover continued to decline. At the same time, as a business gift, the market demand of gold and silver commemorative coins for policy reasons also appeared a certain degree of decline. So it is resulted that the overall market performance is relatively weak. Even the traditional hot item-Zodiac coins, its performance of sale is inferior to previous years. As for some commemorative coins’projects and varieties, the present price even below the issue price. Especially some investment currency which is closely related the price of gold, the fell of price of precious metals results the fall of the investment currency price quickly, such as "Panda" set of gold coins and1ounce of silver coins, in the year of2013, the market price of5pieces of such panda gold varies from23000RMB to19000RMB each set. The above situations have caused great impact on investor. The only thing they can do just continues to maintain a wait-and-see attitude. As a result, it influenced the short-term market and the market demand followed fall.As a national mint, the change of commemorative coin market directly affects SZGB mint’s profit, also influence employee’s salary. Especially the mint moved to an industry area which is far away from Shenzhen city and the living conditions is not good yet. What’s more, the production capacity of the new factory will be expanded. In order to attract and retain talents, SZGB mint needs to speed up the reasonable configuration of company’s human resources. And it also needs to redistribute the compensation science and rationally. Under these circumstances, the mint can give full play to the initiative of employees and motivate employees to work wholeheartedly and enhance the overall performance of the enterprises.The paper researches on the compensation system of SZGB mint, analyzes the existing problems and shortcomings of the compensation system, combined with the mint’s development strategy, and optimizes the design of compensation system. Firstly, this paper makes research according to the following procedures:introduce questions, analyze problems and solve the problems. Based on the review of related theories of compensation, the paper analyzes the actual conditions of the compensation system and its problems; explores and establishes a new compensation system which is suitable for the development strategy of SZGB mint. It is based on the position compensation system and design broadband compensation system. At the same time, SZGB mint will provide some relevant supporting measures following optimizing design of compensation system.And the paper also shows the expected effect of its operation.
