With the fierce competitive environment nowadays among enterprises, it becomes significantly important to get and keep talents. Obviously salary increase is no more one of the best efficient approaches to retain those high performers and talents. How to develop employees at all levels and set up a pipe line for them to get growth is the focus for employers to prioritize. As one of the famous enterprises in fulfillment industry, more than80%employees are after-85’s generation. Compared with the generation of70’s, the spoiled generation is less worry and economic pressure. They tend to pursue self-autualization and career development. Dive deep such needs and integrate into company strategy and long-term business plan is one of the key initiatives for human resources.Applying the theory of Competency based on training, the thesis did analyze on existing problems and root cause of DB and imported Competency Model to frame out DB first line operators competency model. Tailoring to the needs assessment of staff, it’s going to build DB whole training and development courses system and have after-training evaluation system to assure the systematism, consistency and pertinency.The design and methodology is instructive and referenced to some extent for general staff training of retail related industry like supermarket, fulfillment industry as well as transportation industry.
