So this article set Xiaoyi city as anexample to study the economic transformation of resource-exhaustedcity. The problems has the certain enlightenment and referencesignificance to other resource-exhausted cities in China that in theprocess of transition and in transformation.This Paper is put the party’s sustainable development thought asthe instruction, and combined with the social development actual ofXiaoyi city, then around the economic transformation ofresource-exhausted city main line. The first part introduces thebackground of the selected topic and the significance, and pointedout that Xiaoyi city are the urgency of the economic transformation ofresource-exhausted city.
