Performance Evaluation And Trend Analysis Of Urban-Rural Integrated Development In Dongting Lake Area

Urban and rural areas are two regional units with particular meanings for, the relationship between them is formed by the regional long-term connection between urban and rural areas. Urban and rural dual structure is a necessary stage of development in the most countries and regions, but the growing gap between the urban and rural areas inevitably leads to the imbalance of social economy. Therefore, urban-rural relationship changes from opposition and separation to coordination and interaction is a inevitable trend.The development of ChangZhuTan economic circle and the propulsion of rising strategy of central China given the rapid economic development in DongTing Lake area, and has made great achievements, but the contradiction between the urban and rural areas is also increasingly prominent. In the new period, the Urban-Rural Integrated Development becomes one of the important goals of economic and social development in DongTing Lake area, and is the main way to solve the "three rural issues", to gradually eliminate the urban-rural dual structure, to realize the sustainable development of urban and rural areas. As a result, the research of the Urban-Rural Integrated Development in DongTing Lake area has the vital significance for accelerating the economic and social development in DongTing Lake area and even in Hunan province.Based on summarizing the results of previous studies, firstly, this paper constructed an evaluation index system, and used the comprehensive evaluation method to quantitative analyze the performance and the trend of urban-rural integrated development in DongTing Lake area during the2003-2012ten years; secondly, with the help of mathematical statistic analysis software SPSS and Mapgis, measured and analyzed the performance level of urban-rural integrated from two aspects of transverse and longitudinal, and found out the problems existing in the urban-rural development; thirdly, used multiple linear regression analysis methods to analyze the factors affecting the urban-rural Integrated Development; finally, through the above analysis, discussed the trend of urban-rural Integrated Development in DongTing Lake area.Based on the research of urban-rural Integrated performance at county in Dongting Lake area,the results of the study show that:(1) The urban-rural Integrated development in Dongting Lake area has a low level, Only Wuling District, Yueyanglou District, Wangcheng District, Yueyang county, and Heshan District higher than the average level, the rest of the16counties have a relatively low level. The urban-rural integrated development is affected on the comprehensive level of urban-rural development and the comprehensive level of urban-rural harmonious level, and each county of the three development level is not consistent. The21counties can be divided into four types by making clustering analysis use counting software SPSS:urban-rural higher integrated type, medium integrated type, lower integrated type and low integrated type.(2) The spatial difference,,were analyzed in2012, the level of the urban-rural integrated performance of the overall regional has Obvious geographical differences:first of all, the Dongting Lake area presents the pattern on"high around and low middle, centripetal gathering" in space, The urban core area including Yueyanglou District, Wuling District, Heshan District and Wangcheng District have a high urban-rural integrated performance score, the farther outside the lower level of urban-rural integrated performance; secondly, the highest level of urban-rural integrated performance in the east area, the west second, lowest center.(3) The time differences, in the ten years between2003and2012, the level of urban-rural integrated performance in Dongting Lake area has been in a rising state, the comprehensive scores more than doubled. Among them, before2008, the level rise slowly, and then growth is obvious. The distribution of urban-rural integrated in the overall area presents the pattern on" east and west zone" in2003and then gradually evolved into" the gap between east and west decreases, and given priority to with gap between city and peripheral" pattern shape in2012; show "in the urban area as the center, to the surrounding decline" shape.(4) Influence Factors, economic foundation, urban development level, industrial structure and regional policy impact on urban-rural integrated development, which are the important factor differences. Factors that affect urban-rural integrated development differences is the urban development level, economic foundation, regional policy in turn, and the affect of industrial structure is not obvious. Therefore, urban-rural integrated development in Dongting Lake area need to construct rational urban-rural system, improve infrastructure construction, promote the urban and rural infrastructure and coordinate the intra industry and constantly drive improvement and reform of urban-rural system etc.
