"Joseph Needham problem" and "Qian Xuesen’s question" are the questions which areworth thinking and researching in the history of Chinese science and technology. It has causedexperts and scholars to pay attention to the development of Chinese science and technology.This thesis makes the "Joseph Needham problem" and "Qian Xuesen’s question" materials,trying to use the method of comparative study, and researching the scientific outlook on theimportant enlightenment of our country science and technology development. This paperfirstly overviews "Joseph Needham problem" and "Qian Xuesen’s question", briefly reviewsthe development of two problems. It points out the key of"Joseph Needham problem" is to talk about the objective conditions and rules of thedevelopment of science and technology and the key to "Qian Xuesen’s question" is the modeof talent training. Comparing "Joseph Needham problem" with "Qian Xuesen’s question", wecome to difference between the two problems, which is they have different backgroundfactors and different emphasis. At the same time, it points out the common point that they arethe reflection on the social development of practice and the discussion of the development ofscience and technology. Through the analysis we can know: human is the core and the link ofthe scientific and technological activities and we should attach great importance to thecultivation of innovative talents. Finally, it discusses the mode of innovative talentscultivating and points out that the innovation talents training pattern exists the followingproblems, such as the limitation of the traditional mode of education, colleges and universities"Yan easy out" malpractice, the impact of market economy on the higher education, the lackof enforcement of teachers and policy, values guiding role in narrow. Based on the mode ofcultivating innovative talents, ii puts forward the advice on the training model of innovativetalents, such as stressing the need to learn foreign education experience and mode, cancelingthe University Educational Administration, updating the concept of education, changing thethought of education, strengthening the construction of innovative teachers, advocatingsubject act with united strength and forming the formation of innovative talents training modein china.
