Under the background of global economic integration, competition and coo peration between the cities gradually evolved into the competition and cooperati on between the urban agglomerations, it is not only put forward higher request between the cities’ interaction and connection of elements “space flow” such as people, logistics, cash flow, information flow, technology flow, and also gen erate the profound effect to urban agglomeration spatial connection and the dev elopment of integration. Release of The Urban Agglomeration Planning in the central part of Yunnan(2009-2030), to the role of the cities, the industrial spac e layout, traffic facilities improve, etc for the development direction of urban a gglomeration in the central part of Yunnan provides a new guide and control.Urban agglomeration spatial contact has always been a hot topic in the re search of the academic disciplines, the sustainable development of urban agglo meration integration and networking, need connection of the space between the city as a foothold. The first, this paper illustrate the concept of urban agglom eration and the basic theory of spatial connection,and then through measure e conomic connection, transport connection and agglomeration and diffusion conn ection of the space of the urban agglomeration in the central part of Yunnan, from the macroscopic and microscopic aspects explains the degree and characte ristics of urban agglomeration spatial connection in central part of Yunnan, and build up the overall measure model of the space connection, found some pro belms of the urban agglomeration spatial contact in Yunnan such as the core c ity of Kunming for flow pressure in aspect of passenger traffic and cargo,trans port network density is not high, productivity tend to be scattered and migratio n between cities is relatively not frequent, The intensity of space connection b etween Kunming and Yuxi since the introduction of the economic distance is n ot more than Qujing and Kunming, extroverted function and urban comprehensi ve strength does not match, and then from the influence of urban agglomeratio n spatial contaction in central part of Yunnan such as geographical environmen t, political, economic, social and technological factors, analyzed and discussed t he mechanism of formation and development of urban agglomeration spatial co nnection, finally put forward specific control measures such as strengthen the spatial relationship between the cities, giving full play to the advantages of urba n agglomerations as a whole, optimization of network traffic infrastructure, imp rove urban agglomeration accessibility no matter its inside and outside, on the basis of the potential entropy clear the urban agglomeration of passenger and f reight center, promote the regional industry division and cooperation, strengthen regional elements flow,so as to the development of urban agglomeration spati al connection in the central part of Yunnan to provide decision-making consult ation.
