Present Research Of Affordable Housing Problem

Housing has been a big issue what people care about. housing is one of the most important issues lingering in people’s minds of every country and period. For thousands of years, Marx, Engels and other classical writers have did a lot of research and study on the issue of housing. Marx studied the basic element of human needs and social stability. Engels experienced live hardships by going deep into the feelings of poor people, focused on "Housing is a basic human survival needs ". Many Western economists have did a lot of in-depth exposition on the housing security theory especially the effective-demand theory of welfare state and market failure theory made by Keynesian are the representatives for the construction and development of affordable housing theory, they have a greater enlightenment.Over the years, leaders of our country make livelihood issues as fundamental, the protection of people’s living standards as the principle, and a lot of exploration has been did. Since1978, our country’s economic reform and opening up has been made with rapid growth, people’s living standards has improved. Especially the most rapidly developing is in real estate, brings the greatest force of the impact for the economy of our country.The construction of affordable housing has played a significant role for our country to protect people’s livelihood. But with the continuous reform construction affordable housing is encountering many problems in the construction and distribution process, such as land acquisition, fund raising, imperfect entry and exit mechanisms. This paper focuses the problems on the construction of affordable housing, and these problems have been studied and analyzed for reasons. In the end of this paper, it proposes countermeasures and reference solutions binding material appearing on current problems.
