In the process of the loose sandstone reservoir development, Sand production of oil well is an outstanding problem that affect this kind of oil reservoir exploitation. At present, Sand control of oil well is an important mean to solve the problem of sand production to maintain the well production. But for some sand producing serious loose sandstone reservoir, despite the use of the sand control measures, we still cannot avoid sand production problem. Along with the production, when a certain particle size and concentration of sand Inflow the wellbore with the formation fluids, If the production of oil well is high enough, The sand will be carried out of the well with formation fluid. On the contrary, if the yield is low, Sand can not be carried out but gradually accumulate at the bottom of the hole. As the amount of accumulated gradually increased, It could cause the reservoir submerged sand and sand plug tubing, even make bottom hole collapse and the casing damage, affect the normal production of oil Wells. Therefore, in the case of we can’t completely avoid sand production oil Wells, It is necessary for us to carry on the research of sand settlement regularity in the formation fluid.Aiming at the serious sand production problem in partial blocks of the Longhupao oil field, we have mainly done the following three aspects of work:(1)Through the indoor experiment, We measured the particle size, moisture content, crude oil rheology and sand concentration of samples that taken from the scene, we determined the main scope of sand particle size, content and sand concentration of each block. To provide the basis for the next step of the wellbore static and dynamic sand experimental rules.(2)With the aid of the self built device, we conducted sand static settling experiment within the wellbore. Through the experiment, we drew the shape coefficient of different blocks of soil sample, to lay the foundation for further dynamic law of grit in the wellbore experimental study.( 3) Through dynamic law of grit in the wellbore experiment, We identify the different particle size of sand sedimentation rule in different flow rate, water content and sand concentration, We established a model to describe the particle movement state. Provide a theoretical basis For the effective implementation of the wellbore sand control technology.
