In order to improve the yarn unevenness, enhance the yarn quality, high speed drawing frame is generally equipped with autolever. However, the control system of autolever is nonlinear and hysteresis and the movement of fiber is irregularity and complexity. These characteristics increase the difficulty of establishing accurate mathematical model. The traditional mode of control is difficult to meet the needs of production. So research of the intelligent control technology is very suitable for autolever even necessary, and has great significance.The existing autolever is given priority to with open- loop control, more even delay as the key parameters of open- loop control system, how to calculate the precise time delay has been even research focus of the control theory. At present only a handful of world-class companies to master the technology, and blockade the technology. Therefore, the breakthrough of this technology is helpful to promote the performance of autolever and textile quality in C hina. Aiming at the impo rtance of the delay calculation, the research contents of this paper are as follows:First, this paper briefly summarized the development process and research significance of autolever. This article elaborates the drafting principle of drafting frame and analysis the autolever technology from structure, classification and contro l principles in detail. This paper illustrates the hardware and software of the control system.Second, comprehensive analysis the theoretical basis, implementation conditions and characteristics of the existing delay algorithm, start from the basic principle of article yarn, creatively combining drawing frame mechanism and the technology of virtual instrument testing to establish the operational model of time delay. Design the corresponding sensors, acquisition card and host computer to establish the hardware test platform. Design the corresponding Lab VIEW program implementation time delay control arithmetic.Last, put forward the open- loop delay self-optimizing intelligent operation scheme on the basis of optimization methods. The scheme is provided with a detection point on the output side, corresponding to the open- loop control input detection point, forming a kind of hybrid ring control mechanism. At the same time, the model of using yarn evenness quality as feedback to adjust the delay time is more reasonable.
