Abstract/Summary:
Beaded pads utilized as cooling mats and handicrafts are popular and their market demands are tremendous. Up to now, there are still no automatic weaving machines for this kind beaded pad at home and abroad and all the beaded pads are hand-woven. This kind of beaded pad has the problems of low production efficiency, higher cost, high labor intensity, poor production consistency and so on. The researches of the weaving method for automatic weaving beaded pads and the mechanism design are still in the exploratory phase. This dissertation focuses on the studies of the beaded pad weaving method suitable for machine automatic weaving and the design of the automatic weaving mechanism to solve the problem of machine continuously weaving the beaded pads. The main research contents are as follows:The design objective for the automatic weaving machines of this kind beaded pad is presented according to the requirement of the weaving beaded pad. The function of the weaving machine is decomposed into many sub-functions utilized the function analysis method, and the tasks of each sub-function are analyzed. The design ideas and framework for the automatic weaving machine are generated naturally.An ideal kind of spatial weaving trajectory is proposed to solve the problem of machine weaving the beaded pads continuously. The law of uplink and downlink’s movement route is analyzed and their movement routes are described by mathematical modeling. The simulation results for uplink and downlink’s motion state in the process of weaving beaded pads have been obtained by computer simulation. The single-line double-deck weaving method, which is suitable for machine weaving the beaded pads continuously, is further presented. And the weaving process of the single-line double-deck weaving method is introduced in detail.A kind of automatic weaving equipment for the beaded pads is presented on the basis of braiding trajectory in the weaving process with the single-line double-deck weaving method and the framework of the mechanism design. The proposed automatic weaving equipment mainly consists of feed mechanism, threading mechanism, the bead pushing equipment, bead-clamp equipment, the rack and corresponding driving devices. The three-dimensional modeling and assembly of the weaving machine are finished. Finally, the automatic machine weaving process for the beaded pad with the single-line double-deck weaving method is simulated on the computer and the feasibility and validity of the above method are verified.
