With the increasing demand for silicon crystal material, the processing of its proposed requirements are also getting higher and higher. The electroplated diamond wire saw with high cutting efficiency, high and stable section quality, high rate of finished products, long service life, low pollution and many other advantages, get the rapid development in the field of the square root of silicon ingot, slice, ceramic, glass, stone and other hard brittle materials cutting, so the application prospect is more and more clear. As a kind of diamond tools, it is welcomed and concerned by more and more researchers, and gradually replace the traditional cutting tools and become a kind of new hard brittle materials processing cutting tool. In the manufacturing process of the electroplated diamond wire saw, there exists long preparation period and nickel phosphorus alloy layer on the surface of diamond in the plating solution being damaged easily, and this paper has adopted the corresponding test methods to study.Because the relevant properties of coating on the surface of diamond particles are difficult to detect, the paper has conducted the preparation of nickel phosphorus alloy layer in the surface of copper and glass substrates, the effects of phosphorus content and heat treatment conditions on the hardness, corrosion resistance and electrical conductivity of coating were studied respectively. In the condition of determining medium phosphorus content, the paper selects 30-40μm diamond particles. First of all plating the nickel phosphorus alloy on the surface of diamond by electroless plating method, and then making the corresponding heat treatment, finally using scanning electron microscopy (SEM) to observe the microstructure of the surface of the diamond after heat treatment and have energy spectrum analysis (EDS) and X-ray diffraction phase analysis being carried out on the diamond surface structure (XRD). The results show that in a certain range, with the temperature of heat treatment increasing, the coating surface becomes much smoother. After heat treatment at 400℃, the coating surface is smoothest; After heat treatment at 500 ℃, the coating surface becomes rough. To learn that by X-ray diffraction pattern, plated specimens after heat treatment at 300 ℃, coating begins to crystallization, precipitation of Ni phase and Ni7P3 phase. After heat treatment at 500 ℃, the precipitation of Ni3P phase, at this time, the crystallization is complete, and the coating has achieved the change from amorphous to crystalline. By mechanical mixing experiments, diamond particles after heat treatment at 300 ℃、400℃ in the bath can be stored for 48 hours at least.Under the same process conditions, the diamond particles with no heat treatment and after heat treatment at 300℃ respectively were chosen to be used in Hull cell test of sanding, and to determine the best process parameters. The results show that using the diamond particles after heat treatment at 300 ℃, its content of sanding much more than the former, and the efficiency of sanding is obviously improved.The matrix size is copper carbon steel wire that the diameter was 0.18mm, the plating solution is sulphamate model solution, under the process parameters, the diamond particles with no heat treatment and after heat treatment at 300 ℃ respectively were adopted in the preparation of electroplated diamond wire saw, and conducting the cutting test of whetstone. The results show that the surface quality of whetstone is high in the use of the diamond particles after heat treatment at 300 ℃ produced electroplated diamond wire saw, and the incision is neat, it can meet the requirement of using performance.
