This paper takes Shi Jiazhuang City water quality security of potable water sources as research object. Potable water sources mainly include The reservoir Gangnan and The reservoir Huangbizhuang. Paper draw lessons from domestic and foreign advanced environmental evaluation theory, combined with the feature of Shi Jiazhuang City. It establish the system for evaluating the water quality of drinking water source method. The method not only evaluate water quality monitoring index, but also quantifies the potential pollution hazard degree. Water risk assessment enables the public to understand the safety degree of water. It will be to optimize the drinking water environment management and pollution prevention and control to provide ideas and basis.The research based on reservoir environmental investigation, and the second is to use water pollution index method to evaluate water quality, the third is the use of comprehensive nutrition index method to evaluate the extent of eutrophication, the forth is to establish a health risk model to evaluate the health risk. The key is to build a hierarchical analysis model for the comprehensive assessment of water quality security.Excessive serious problems including certain pollution factor, low level of health and risk management. It is necessary to take a series of effective measures to strengthen the reservoir water resource protection. To improve the water environment quality and protect the surface water resources.
