The Environmental Pollution And Relative Governance In The Process Of Urbanization In Qinhuangdao

Modern years are the period when urbanization has been developing rapidly in China. The gradual opening cities are affected by the institutional and cultures of the West and thus the organization, form, functions of cities have been changed. Since the reform and opening-up, the urbanization has entered into the stage of acceleration, but at the same time, environmental issues accumulated gradually in the process of economic development have been reflected in recent years. The quality of urbanization is often used to measure the quality of modern life, and the biggest factor is environment in the process of fast and efficient development in the urbanization.During the process of urbanization, along with the aggregation of population, people demand for better living conditions and environment, which include the needs of health, education, life and other basic facilities. Inevitably it generates a series of environmental problems in the development, so we cannot ignore the impact of environmental pollution in the development of urbanization. It is important for us to make strategies by studying the coordination of the development of urbanization and ecological environment.In this thesis, the background of urbanization, socio-economic development and environmental pollution problems in the development of Qinhuangdao are analyzed and discussed in order to study the relationship between the development of urbanization and the associated environmental issues. The concepts and theories of rural urbanization of environmental pollution are analyzed by using environmental Kuznets theory, sustainable development theory and eco-production theory. The survey results show that Qinhuangdao, which is in the area of Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei, has the unique coastal geographical advantages and resources, and is the first few ranks of urbanization rate in Hebei Province in nearly five years. Through the fieldwork and data collection, issues in environmental pollution in process of urbanization in Qinhuangdao are analyzed, and the experience and inspiration of cities in Japan, the United Kingdom, the United States and other countries are also used.From three respects, that is, government, the public and the enterprise, the countermeasures of environmental pollution in Qinhuangdao’s urbanization are put forward.
