This article is based on Malu Phosphate Mine in Huize county, Yunnan province. Southeast of the Phosphate Mine is a steep slope, which with a slope about 45 degree, There is a village at the bottom of the slope, with about 500 meters height difference, there lived some villagers.considering the invironment of the mine is difficult, Blasting fly-rock must be controlled strictly in production blasting. The article started with the blasting crater theory, researched on the process that the fly-rock produce, motion and protection, providing some reference for the mine production later time.Firstly, the author designed the economic and reasonable blasting scheme according to the geological conditions and geographical conditions. Based on the blast crater theory, the author analyzed the algorithmic method and distribution law of fly-rock in bench loose blasting. Using numerical integration method, researched on the algorithmic method and distribution law of fly-rock with the action of cylindrical charge.Secondly, adopting numerical simulation means, using finite element analysis software ANSYS/AUTODYN, establishing bench model with proportion 1:1, using Smoothed Particle Hydrodynamics and Constitutive Model, simulated the bench loose blasting, getting the result of fly-rock’s driving velocity and the internal damage situation in the current blasting parameters of the mine. Finally, according to the result of initial driving velocity got in the numerical simulation, researched the motion law of fly-rock on the slope, calculated the velocity of fly-rock crashed the passive protecting mesh, and analyze the safety of protecting mesh by numerical simulation means.
