With the increase of the urban population, and the improvement the living quality, the generation of the municipal solid waste is increasing. The pollution of the MSW to the city’s environment is becoming more and more serious, and the waste has influenced China’s urban sustainable development of economy and the main problem affecting the health of the residents, has aroused the concern of the whole society. As the waste separation is getting more and more complex, it is necessary to choose appropriate waste treatment methods according to the different characteristics. The text provides the basis for the waste treatment method selection through comparison, and evaluation of various waste treatment technologies.This text firstly expounded on China’s current waste treatment methods, analyzes MSW landfill technology, MSW incineration technology, MSW composting technology, and integrated MSW treatment technology, and did a detailed analysis on the process flow, processing methods of four ways. The text took analysis on the advantages and disadvantages on four technologies from the operation safety, reliability, applicable condition, water pollution, air pollution, soil pollution, risks etc., elaborated the economic and environment benefits and the possible consequences brought by the processing methods. Meanwhile, the text analyzed the influence factors of the MSW treatment technology selection.The text firstly analyzed different waste treatment methods, established MSW treatment evaluation model by fuzzy comprehensive judgement method. The model identified MSW treatment method evaluation indexes including four first grade indexes, including the environmental factors, social factors, economic factors, technological factors, and also identified three evaluation objects: MSW landfill technology, incineration technology, composting technology, marked three level evaluation discourse domain of good, fair, bad. Fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method process and 2 level index system, 2 level fuzzy comprehensive model and one level fuzzy evaluation model were established.In order to verify the validity and applicability of the model, the text took the MSW treatment ways of Tianjin city as the example, after analyzing the situation of Tianjin MSW treatment, to determine the weight of level one and level two indexes by applying expert evaluation method, and the application of evaluation model of landfill, incineration, composting technologies of two level index evaluation and a quantitative evaluation index. Compared the three waste treatment technologies from the environmental factors, social factors, economic factors, technical factors, the comprehensive scores According to the evaluation result.Finally, according to the current MSW treatment problems, the text put forward constructive suggestions for choosing the appropriate MSW treatment methods and a sustainable development way for the city.
