For cotton fabric ’s ion modification, The paper based on the sol-gel method and tourmaline surface coating method to research anion finishing methods.Use tetraethyl orthosilicate(TEOS) as silica source, ethanol as solvent and ammonia as the catalyst, Analysis the influence of ammonia, TEOS, deionized water system to Silica Microspheres and monodisperse particle size distribution properties, prepared different size and performance of monodisperse nano-sol, Optimized the method of preparation, and samples were characterized by FT-IR, SEM, XRD analysis results showed that the preparation of the nano-silica was amorphous. With cotton fabric for basic fabric, finishing with a homemade nano silica sol,which release negative ions can reach 2500 / cm3 or more. 220 nm silica sol shows best finishing effect. Finishing investigate the impact of nano-silica fabric load capacity anion release, the best finishing temperature is 30 ℃, the best cars rolling pressure was 1kg / m2, the best liquor ratio of 1:20. Testing found that the permeability of the finished fabric, drape has not significantly reduced, which retains the cotton fabric good wearability.Grinding the larger size Tourmaline particle commercially available by using a planetary ball mill, obtain particle size D90 = 2.823μm, noon diameter of 1.285μm tourmaline powder. For waterborne polyurethane as a binder prepared tourmaline negative ions finishing solution on cotton fabric finishing anion get tourmaline coated fabric. Discuss the solids content of tourmaline, pu on the fabric how impact negative ions release. When testing tourmaline coated fabrics’ properties found they became less breathable, more stiff.Use silica sol for Tourmaline coated fabrics’ further finishing. SEM indicates that tourmaline and nano-silica coated on fabric surface. Tested composite fabric finishing release negative ions has been further improved, reaching 5000 / cm3 or more, indicating tourmaline and nano-silica produced a synergistic effect. The sol finished coating fabric shows better softness and it’s permeability decreases a little。By orthogonal test finishing process analysis, optimization process: Mangle pressure 1kg / m2, dipping temperature 40 ℃, immersion time 15 min.
