Poly(butylene adipate-co-terephthalate)(PBAT)was a biodegradable polymer material with excellent performance,but it could not applied widely for its expensive.In order to study low cost functional degradable polymer material,several kinds of PBAT-based degradable functional composites were prepared by melt blending in this work.For preparation negative ion releasing functional degradable material,the tourmaline powder was modified with span 60 and melt blend with PBAT to get PBAT/tourmaline powder composite material,and the dispersion of modified tourmaline powder in the PBAT under different process conditions and mechanical properties were investigated.The experimental results indicate that the modified tourmaline powder could improve the mechanical properties of PBAT,and both the tensile strength and breaking elongation of PBAT/tourmaline powder composites reached maximum value 30.9 MPa and 844% when adding amount for 3% of the PBAT quality tourmaline powder and stirring at 150 °C for 120 min.The tensile strength and elongation at was the best.The DSC analysis showed that tourmaline played a role in heterogeneous nucleation of PBAT,and increased the crystallization temperature and crystallinity of PBAT.The negative ion release quantity of PBA/tourmaline composites was 330/cm3,was the 2.06 times compared to air's negative ion number.In order to develop the application of starch and empolder the degradable materials,the blending technology of starch with PBAT was discussed in this work.The thermoplastic starch(TPS)was prepared by treatment starch with KH-560,and then blended with PBAT to get starch/PBAT composites.The process conditions were optimized as follows: the mass ratio of starch to PBAT was 70:30 with 0.5% silane coupling agent KH-560,and mixed 20 min at 140 ?.Compared with the starch/PBAT composites without KH-560,the mechanical property water resistance and thermal property were increased.The TPS/PBAT/tourmaline composites were prepared by adding modified tourmaline in the procedure of starch blending withPBAT.The experimental results showed that the thermal stability of the composites was improved obviously when the tourmaline content was 3%,and its negative ion content of 360/cm3,which was the 2.25 times compared to air's negative ions number.The wood flour was used as filler,We tried that 40% wood flour melt blended with PBAT to prepare wood flour/PBAT composites.The optimum conditions for the combination of wood flour and PBAT were as follows: the addition amount of silane coupling agent KH-560 was 2%,the mixing temperature was 130 ?,the mixing time was 10 min.The water resistance and thermal stability of the wood powder/PBAT composites prepared were improved clearly,the mechanical property water resistance and thermal property were increased.The wood powder/PBAT/tourmaline composite film was prepared by adding modified tourmaline,when the amount of tourmaline was 1%,the tourmaline was uniformly dispersed in the composite material,and its tensile strength and elastic modulus were improved,negative ion releasing amount reached 310/cm3,which was the 2.25 times compared to air's negative ions number.
