At present, the crisis of resource depletion and mineral reserves reducing drastically is increasing. Not only we have to solve the complex geological problems such as reconnaissance, design, production from deep mining of mineral resources, so that meet the demand of human beings to resources, but also face to the pressure which come from environmental pollution and production safety. Digital mining technology is an effective way to solve these problems. Construction of the digital mine could optimize mining plan, guarantee producing safety. It plays an important role in sustainable development. However, how to make the most effective use of digital mining achievement is essential to constructing the digital mine. This thesis makes a research about the function of smart mobile devices based on our project. At the same time, the author test the effect of three-dimensional geological model visualization system which based on ios operating system and smart mobile devicesThe main content is made up by two parts:1) An overground and underground three-dimensional model of uncovered metal mine which based on multiple data. It includes four parts. Getting the ordered images of UAV and rebuilding models. And the author splices the point-cloud models by Geomagic software. Of course, the author collect the high precision 3D laser scan data that through the process of denoising and data compression in the beginning. For the underground model, the author has the ore geological profiles and gobs’spatial form information. The author builds the orebody models and gob models based on parallel hatches. According to the theory of multiple and different scales data, the author integrate the integral mine model by using diverse modeling methods2) Specific implementation process of three-dimensional geological model visualization system which based on ios operating system. First, the author introduce conditions necessary for software development, including development environment, programming Language, platform tools and graphics library. Then the author designs the framework of application system, software features, user Interface. Finally, the author tests the effect of ios software.The achievement of this thesis will make a contribution to exploring the technology of office automation by tablet-PC, promote the progress of constructing the digital mine.
