Research On The Causes Of Air Pollution And Prevention Measures In Midong

Midong is the key industrial development area of Urumqi. It was still accelerating the construction of Midong chemical industry park and Ganquanbao industrial park to the modern industrial parks. The air quality of Midong will be affected by industrial emissions, therefore, with the development of the industry of Midong, reasonable measures must be taken to protect air pollution becoming the focus of the facing problems.Through analyzing the atmospheric environmental monitoring data analysis in Midong, this paper mainly summarized the change characteristics of atmospheric pollution, and analyzed the causes of air pollution. Combined with the development of the region and natural conditions, the paper putted forward the suitable measures for the atmospheric pollution prevention and control. And then, we can provide the basis for the need of urban development. In this paper, the main research contents were as follows:(1) Through analyzing the chemical composition of air particulate matter, we found that SO42- was the highest components of PM10, followed by TC, Si, and NO3-. The emissions of SO2 and NOX were in the higher level petroleum processing, chemical industry and electric power industry. The product of particulate emissions which were non-metallic was the largest in atmospheric PM10.(2) According to the atmospheric monitoring data, it showed that SO2 and PM10 concentrations in heating season were significantly higher than that of the non-heating season, compared to the non-heating season, NO2 concentration difference was not obvious. Three kinds of contaminants’ concentrations were increasing year by year. It showed that with the development of the time, the meters east atmospheric pollution problem was becoming more and more serious.(3) The causes of air pollution in Midong:The one causes of air pollution was main natural factors such as topography, physiognomy and meteorological conditions. The terrain of Midong can slow down the air moving speed, and make the atmospheric pollutants in the southeast region. The climate can weak atmospheric diffusion ability of pollutants, and make the pollutants accumulation because of the wind.The other one was human factors which mainly include the social and economic development, pollution emissions and control, urban management and public participation, etc.(4) In view of the air pollution situation of Midong, we should put forward the corresponding measures to prevent and control the pollution. To prevent air pollution,we should take measures from two aspects of source control and end control. On the source, pollutant emissions must meet the requirements of environmental capacity; In the end, we should comprehensively enhance the level of pollution source control and enhance the level of urban environmental management.
