Wetland ecological monitoring is the internal demand of wetland management and planning, but also the external requirements of the development of wetland tourism and the construction of national ecological civilization. Wetland ecological monitoring has become a business work, resulting in a large quantity of complex wetland ecological monitoring data. Efficient management, reasonable storage and rapid analysis of the data has become an urgent problem to be solved. Through the analysis of complexity of ecological monitoring data and the key technology of database system, this paper has studied the design and preliminary application of the XiXi Wetland ecological monitoring database system.First of all, the paper focuses on the complexity and diversity of Xixi Wetland ecological monitoring data, analyzing the requirements and the key technique of database system. The complexity of Ecological monitoring data is the various data types, which involves numbers, words, symbols, images, etc., different data structure resulted in different storage ways, faster grow rate and cumulative large ecological monitoring data.Secondly, based on the analysis of requirements and key technology, the paper designed the architecture of Xixi wetland database system, forming a set of technology solutions of ecological monitoring data management system. The system adopts B/S (Browser/Server)architecture, the front layer integrating ExtJS, WorldWind and Java Applet to realize the friendly design of user interface and the visualization of geographic information, the intermediate layer integrating Spring, MyBatis and WorldWind to realize fast, stable, safe and efficient information transfer between front layer and data layer, data layer integrating Oracle database and GeoServer WMTS map service to realize the support of underlying powerful data and service. The system designed five major functional modules, including user management, GIS map, data management, statistical analysis and thematic visualization.Finally, the paper analyzed assessment method of ecosystem health, constructing the water environmental health evaluation model of Xixi wetland. The model include the selection of evaluation index, the calculation of index weight, the confirmation of evaluation standard and the fuzzy evaluation of health levels.The paper analyzed water environmental health of XiXi Wetland, reaching a preliminary application to database system.The database system has realized efficient management, proper storage and fast analysis of ecological monitoring data, providing information support for wetland management and decision-making, serving the public with wetland monitoring visualization information.
