Along with the rapid development of metallurgical industry and technological progress, especially in the stage of modern large-scale steel making equipment, the stage is gradually popularized. The lifting weight of the crane has been raised from 100 tons to 300-400 tons. Its operating stability and control accuracy requirements have been raised to an unprecedented height, which also promoted the development of the electric control technology. The control mode of the integrated rotor cascade resistance speed regulation by adjusting the voltage and speed regulation is becoming the new motor control mode because of its advantages in the comprehensive performance. Due to the complex surface environment, heavy lifting, and even liquid metal, the speed device has the function of fast detection, reliable operation of equipment, adjustable data parameters and quick maintenance of the device.This paper is based on the actual demand and the shortage of the current speed regulation device in the present stage, and a complete set of AC voltage regulation device based on single chip microcomputer and the corresponding embedded real-time operating system Full RTX is developed. Swap the voltage and speed control device architecture a complete design, hardware part uses a modular design, according to different functional design module, the device of high-efficient maintenance; the RTX full system and a plurality of BSP development embedded into the speed regulating device design software system; on the device’s basic functions, performance and environmental adaptability were tested to ensure speed regulating device adapt to harsh environment, high reliability and fault detection processing capability, security and stability, and the whole device better application in metallurgical crane operation control.
