As China’s typical industries of high consumption and high emission, Ceramic industry have the problem of low rate of energy utilization and low production efficiency. With the rapid growth of sales of China’s building and sanitary ceramics, energy and materials consumption of ceramic production also increased rapidly, study on the energy efficiency assessment and optimization methods of ceramic production process have the necessity and urgency.Now, Many studies on energy efficiency assessment of ceramic enterprises are from the view of whole life cycle of ceramic production, but energy consumption of pre-production, use and Decommission phase is difficult to accurately quantify, and most of the energy consumption concentrated in the ceramics production stage, assessment results of energy efficiency from the LCA point of view do not reflect the true level. In the respect of energy efficiency optimization of ceramic production, most studies only focus on energy consumption research of a single device or a single process, not from the perspective of the whole process chain of ceramic production to research the optimization of energy efficiency. Accordingly, this thesis will propose a model of energy efficiency assessment based on whole process chain of ceramics production, and achieve collaborative optimization of energy efficiency based on ATC. The main of this thesis contents are as follows:1. The feature that ceramics production is the production modes of discrete and continuous mixing is Revealed, and the analytical framework model of energy consumption characteristics based on process is built. Then this model is used to achieve feature analysis of energy consumption of the sanitary ceramics production processes which contain the slurry preparation, molding, drying, glazing and firing process.2. A model of energy efficiency evaluation of process chain based on material and energy active-matrix is Proposed. According to the feature of energy consumption and characteristics of input and output, materials and energy active-matrix of sanitary ceramics production process chain based on processes is constructed. Then using active-matrix model to quantify energy efficiency indexes of sanitary ceramics production process chain which contain energy efficiency indexes of yield, utilization of raw materials and value-added. Energy efficiency evaluation model of whole process chain is establish to realize analysis and comparison of efficiency levels of different production process chain in different time periods.3. Aiming at energy efficiency of yield as the optimization target of energy efficiency optimization of sanitary ceramics production process chain, energy efficiency optimization method of whole process chain base on ATC is proposed. This method Break down energy efficiency optimization problem of ceramic production process chain into the process chain layer and process layer, establish yield energy efficiency optimization layer model of process chain layer and energy consumption optimization model of process layer, realize collaborative optimization of energy efficiency of the process chain layer and energy consumption of process layer.Based on the above research, taking a sanitary ceramics enterprise in Foshan as the application object, the proposed method is applied to evaluate energy efficiency of the process chain, and support its energy efficiency optimization. It verifies the feasibility of the proposed method in the application of the enterprise.
