Hazardous wastes refer to the solid wastes with hazardous characteristics listed in the National hazardous wastes list or identified by the national regulations on the identification standards and method.Law of the People’s Republic of China on the Prevention and Control of Environmental Pollution Solid Wastedefinitely specify that any units which produce industrial hazardous wastes must treat the wastes as per national law that no dumping or put anywhere at one’s will. The identification, storage, landfill or burning of hazardous wastes should comply with Identification standard for hazardous wastes GB5085.7-2007, Storage and contamination control standards of hazardous wastes GB18597-2001 and Landfill and Contamination control standards of hazardous wastes GB18598-2001 and Burning and contamination control standards of hazardous wastes GBJ8484-2001.There is potential risk to environment and human health caused by the company illegal treatment of hazardous wastes. There is not enough qualified contract treatment party, which caused the treatment fee increased year by year and also the cost increasing for company, and most of the companies do not want to input much to handle the treatment of hazardous wastes.The huge capacity of analgin manufacture, the long process of analgin, the varieties of hazardous wastes and the huge amount of hazardous wastes, all of which make the contract treatment to have complex steps to go, slow in treatment process, and high cost and finally affect the manufacture. Therefore, to study the Standardized treatment of hazardous wastes in manufacture of analgin is a significant issue and also is full of representative.With reference to the National hazardous wastes list (No 1 by National environmental protection On 1st August of 2008), this article firstly makes the identification and studies on the hazardous wastes produced from the production of Analgin:wasted activated carbon, wasted colloid, wasted nickel. Then this article makes the studies on the standardized management and treatment on the wasted activated carbon, wasted colloid, wasted nickel.The studies on standardized management of hazardous wastes from analgin, based on the related legal regulations and requirements, grabs the origin of hazardous wastes, formulating various management rules for the hazardous wastes, and collecting all the archival material for the management of hazardous wastes. Studies and designs on the whole process of supervision logbook for hazardous wastes have been done for the collecting, storage, transfer, treatment, in which’date’means the time when the hazardous waste is produced.’Product’ means analgin.’Category’ means activated carbon, wasted colloid or wasted nickel.’Output’ means the quantity of wastes.’Workshop temporary storage’ means the quantity of hazardous wastes stored temporarily by the workshop.’Transfer’ means the quantity transferred from the workshop to company storage places and quantity transferred to the incineration workshop.’Leftover’ means the remaining quantity after the treatment quantity. In addition, studies have been made to the formulate the critical points of regulated management of hazardous wastes, starting from innovative rules, internal transfer logbook, reports on the basic status of wastes till training in order to standardize the management for hazardous wastes.The activated carbon, wasted colloid, wasted nickel produced from analgin production needs to be treated legally, including:transferring to the qualified unit in the province and self-incineration. After studies, this article adapts rotary kiln combination burning treatment for activated carbon, wasted colloid while activated nickel is to be handed over to the producer for treatment and recycling. Rotary kiln combination burning treatment uses the high temperature incineration and waste heat utilization technology to treat activated carbon and wasted colloid, during which process the wasted heat produced during the incineration can be recycled to produce steam to decease the incineration costs. Self-incineration solve the problem of a slow process of commissioned outside treatment, and the restrictions to the company, which completely guarantees the production of the key product analgin, bringing tremendous economic benefits and social benefits.The innovative points of this article lies in the studies and design of whole process supervision to logbook for the collecting, storage, transfer, and treatment of hazardous wastes from analgin, starting from innovative rules, internal transfer logbook, reports on the basic status of wastes till training in order to standardize the management for hazardous wastes. In the same industry, rotary kiln combination burning treatment system is firstly introduced for the treatment of hazardous wastes from analgin, which significantly brings down the treatments costs in comparison of commissioned outside treatment and can save 3.34million RMB each year, with tremendous economic benefits. With the self-incineration, it can put the whole process of the production, storage, transfer, and final treatment of hazardous wastes under the routine supervision of the company, staving off the uncontrollable environmental protection risks, better ensuring stability of production, being in compliance with the sustainable development concept for green environmental protection, providing a solid security of environmental protection for better development of the product.
